A family business, built one home at a time
Cheryl Fairlie was born and raised in Massapequa, on Long Island, New York. She started her career as the manager of an orthopedic distributorship, a role she held for eight years.
When Cheryl and her husband Ronnie started their family, she stepped away from work to raise their kids while they were young. Along the way, she was already doing the work she does today. For more than ten years, friends, family and neighbors have trusted Cheryl to look after their homes while they were away.
When she was ready to return to the workforce, she saw a real need in the South Florida real estate market for reliable, local home watch. In March 2023 she made it official and founded I Watch Your Home. Ronnie, known as The Mortgage Dad, has worked in the South Florida real estate market for 10 years. He helped Cheryl launch the business and is her biggest fan, while Cheryl runs the day to day operations.
The business has been growing ever since. For the Fairlies, I Watch Your Home is a true family business, something they are building together and hope to keep in the family for their four kids.
